#162 Maximum Threshold Radio Show : Interviews with Johnny Lima and Jason McMaster (Dangerous Toys/Ignitor/Broken Teeth)

This was a really good show with Johnny Lima coming on the show and bringing a touch of comedy to the interview, also rocker Jason McMaster who has a history of gold selling records came on and rounded the show off. Dom and Dan discussed many issues including the new song that is sweeping the nation, Pants On The Ground (American Idol). to hear it click HERE.  Dom and Dan did their version of it with a bit of a twist, in country style. Also on the show was a call in from a guy in a band called August Rain who found out his music was being stolen from him and placed on some other bands site called Dust in Bones http://myspace.com/dustinboneshouse or something like that, I think that is the link. Pretty funny segment as he also played his own music on his phone! We lost the call towards the end. Also had a call from an Indian in New Jersey who sang his version of the Indian National Anthem. Very interesting!

Johnny Lima :  Johnny came on to talk about his latest release, the record sales, touring, working with other artists, how the Superbowl was shaping up, music scene in San Jose and much more! Thumbs up on this interview!

Jason McMaster : frontman for the band Dangerous Toys / Ignitor and Broken Teeth came on to talk about his projects with Ignitor and the soon to be released DVD with Dangerous Toys.  Jason spoke in regards to the music scene in Austin, TX, the music industry, and much more. Great segment!

#161 Maximum Threshold Radio Show: Interviews with RadChad (Attackhead) and Danny Beissel (Fosterchild)

On tonights show was the return of Danny Beissel from the band Fosterchild and the debut of RadChad from the Cali thrash metal band Attackhead. Alot of music was played and the music news and Billboard Top 10 was reviewed. Pretty cool episode.

RadChad : Attackhead came on to talk about the band, touring and doing things for the troops. Also talked about the music industry and how important it is for unsigned bands to get airplay and getting their word out.

Danny Beissel : frontman for the band Fosterchild came back on to talk about their EP that they are working on, touring, music industry, promotions and so much more!

Overall, the show dubbed “The Aborted Show” was brought to life and  it was very entertaining from beginning to end.  JB (Black Robot/ex Buckcherry) brought life to the show and the political perspectives from Amy Stewart Hale brought a different perspective to the show and alot of controversy rumbled in the chatroom. Cool segment. Dom called Dan and they talked about stuff, took phone calls, talked about clubs in the Philippines and other nonsense; extremely funny segment, ending the show was a special call in from Paul Stanely.

JB : bassist for the band Black Robot came on to talk about their latest release, the upcoming show, Buckcherry history, Godzilla and much more more! Awesome *****

Amy Stewart Hale : artists / political activist came on to promote her art, government interventions, health coverage and a wide range of other topics including her sons’ band. Pretty cool interview.

#157 Maximum Threshold Radio Show : Matsuflex, Interviews with Lita Ford, Jim Gillette, and Richie Cavalera (Incite)

Wow, this show was less music and more talk. The interviews covered most of the 3 hour span.  Many things was talked about, everything from money shots, to crapping on a tour bus to Heart Attack Grill and strippers serving hamburgers.  This is a really cool show and pretty interesting. Matsuflex sets the stage for the show by talking about being in a self sex tape release on the net.  Lita Ford and husband Jim Gillette cover so many topics from eating Crocodiles to producing the new release Wicked Wonderland.  Richie Cavalera rounds the show off by talking about his band Incite, Max Cavalera and touring.

Matsuflex: spoke in regards to being on Tool Academy, Tiger Woods and his mistress, porn movie and much more!! Classic!

Lita Ford & Jim Gillette : Numerous topics, touring, raising the kids, the new release, recording and so much more! A great interview with both.

MT pushed the limits on this show without Dan this week. Kelly from Max Ink filled in for Dan.  Tonight’s show was filled with alot of information, news, bad comedy and humor as usual, and some new hard hitting explosive music.  Mark Tornillo and Ben Carroll really did a great job on the interview portion and can’t forget the call in by Paul Stanely and his winter wonderland update and his imitation of Dom. And the Billboard Top 10 was also reviewed.

Mark Tornillo : current vox for Accept came on to talk about his role in the band Accept and the progress of the new release set for early 2010.  Mark also spoke in regards to being with TT Quick and never ruled out the option of getting on stage with them and/or recording.  It was great to have him on the show.

Ben Carroll : guitarist for the band Ra stops by to talk about his new solo piece that has been working on. We have been playing a few tracks off it and have been getting great response from it. Dom talked with Ben about playing in Ra, his guitar influence, vocals, gear, record companies and artists reaching their fans digitally, touring and much more!!!!

J.C.B. : frontman from the band Demons within graced us with a return visit. JCB talked about the new line-up, their new release, the tour and plans for 2010.

Very interesting 3 hour show. Started off with a lot of music but soon turned to conversation of Ace Frehley concert that Dom and Dan attended earlier in the week. They talked about meeting Ace Frehley (good segment). It was brought up on another radio show that Dom sounds like a comedian that was on Last Comic Standing. Well leave it Dom, he found the comedian they were talking about (Josh Blue) and they played a few sound clips from his performance and other sounding like he has Cerebral Palsy Dom must sound like him a bit.  Paul Stanely called in to the show and gave us his art updates as well as a new song for Dan. (Funny segment)

Brian Perry :  (bassist Prong) came on to the show to talk about his stints in Prong, touring, funny moments and the “not so” funny moments on the road, working with tommy in Prong, his clothing line and much more!
