This week we had on some of rocks brightest stars. Jason Newsted who is currently out promoting his latest efforts “Newsted – Metal.” We talked with him for over an hour. We talked about everything from Flotsam and Jetsam to Metallica dayz to his current project and his art. You have to check this segment out. Later John Shelton from the band Ekotren called in drunk and talking about new material they are working on. He even mentioned he was in a country bar. Round the end of the night with good friend Brian Tichy. We just bs’d about what he was up to, his recovery process from his mountain bike disaster. We also talked about his recent departure from Whitesnake as well as his S.U.N. gig. It is always good when Brian calls in.

So this was the last show of the year here on the Maximum Threshold Radio Show and we had to step it up a notch. But can we do that? You need to listen to this show and see for yourself. Overview, let’s see here this show was a little over 3 hours long. It provide almost non stop laughter from the beginning through the bitter end. We had a few great interviews with GLOW’s wrestler Ashley Cartier and we had a blast talking with her and she was a great sport. She also learned a new word from Michael, “SWEATER MEAT”. Had a really smooth interview with Darick Parsons of Soulicit. Eric AK Knutson called in from Flotsam and Jetsam and we talked about their latest release, the raising of money from fans to put out this new record, touring and so much more. We also had a call in from Beavis earlier in the show and to top the show off we talked to A.J. Shaeffer one of MT’s top DJ’s who has been with us for at least 4 years with his show “The Toxxic Blvd” and “The Rock Show”. Great guy and he did a few concert reviews for us which were the Def Leppard show, Lita Ford.

Overview: Pretty cool show to listen to. A large discussion about 80’s pop rock bands. We talked about Nena, Kajagoogoo, Fixx, Duran Duran, Flock of Seagalls. Played numerous new clips. Had a call in from played. Michael had a stalker call him. Great interviews with Christian and Carmine. Those are worth listening to. Dom played his guitar and Michael sang. A really bad version of “I Remember You.” Former MT Co-Host Dan Wingfield called in also. Had a big discussion about Nena and having hairy armpits. We pulled up the youtube video of her song 99 Red Balloons and stopped it at the 1:05 mark and it looked like alot of hair.

Jaime St. James : frontman from the bands Black N Blue and Warrant came on the show to talk up the drop date for the new Black N Blue release “Hell Yeah.” We also talked about touring and much more, and outstanding interview.
Mike Smith : called in and Dave and Mike talked about artists who will be sharing the stage at Kenosha, WI for the Doom Fest.
Robb Rivera : good friend of the show came in and covered for Ken. Robb talked about what the band Nonpoint has been up to, the tour that landed them in Australia and so much more. You will want to tune into this segment!
