This was one of those shows that flew by. It was a little over 3 hours long but gave some really great coverage. Outstanding interviews with some of metal’s biggest stars, new music reviews, controversy between Michael and David on Van Halen which always gets very heated up. Cool call ins by Beavis as he reviewed the M3 Show on HDNet, Non-Phil Anselmo called in also.  Funny show and great music played.

Very exciting show. Had on some outstanding and hilarious interviews, played some brand new Accept from their latest release Stalingrad, took calls, talked about broadcasting live at the Corrosion of Conformity show, also talked about the MT TV pilot show to be recorded next week.  Dave also mentioned that the new edition of the Maximum Threshold Magazine is out and everyone can grab their copy of it today.

#217 MT Show – Gunnar Nelson (Nelson), Bumblefoot (GNR), Kirk Windstein (Crowbar), Shawn Crahan – Clown (Slipknot)

Overview: Wow what a helluva lineup on tonight’s MT Show! We had on some old friends as well as some new friends and the show rolled through like a steamroller! Heavy as hell and was a great listen. A really twisted mix on the show but we think you were able to find something in this show for everyone. From Nelson to GNR to Slipknot to Crowbar. Wow is all I have to say about this one! We had a new segment on the show, we added a “3 minute Metal News” segment, we had a contest, Photo Dave was in studio tonight.  Great show!

Gunnar Nelson : called in and Dom and Dave talked with him about his newest release “Lightning Strikes Twice”, music hiatus, the “sophomore effect”, his father, working with George Lynch and much more. A great way to start a show off!

Bumblefoot : BBF called in and we talked about so many topics, from working with Kat Perkins in the band Scarlet Haze to brief GNR  questions from the chatroom to his solo CD. It is always fun having him on the show.

Kirk Windstein : Crowbar/Down/Kingdom of Sorrow guitarist called in and we talked about everything from the newest Crowbar to being sober to MTV, and That Metal Show tattoo that he has. Great segment!

Shawn Crahan : AKA Clown from Slipknot was on with an exclusive interview with Kevin. The two talked about the newest project Black Dots of Death, upcoming tour with Slipknot, percussions, Paul Gray’s passing and so much more.

#216 MT Show – George Lynch, Jamey Jasta, Cliff Evans, Red Tide Rising, Frank Palangi

Overview: Ok,  in a 3 hour show we had 5, count that 5 interviews! Radchad snagged an awesome interview with Mr. Scary himself George Lynch. Had a surprise call in from Hatebreed’s Jamey Jasta, 80’s metal rocker and current axeman Cliff Evans from the band Tank,Denver hard rock/metal band Red Tide Rising and guitar phenom Frank Palangi. Played some new metal and a few flashbacks including one from Night Stalker’s John who did an 80’s flashback featuring Iron Maiden. First hour was mostly music. But it zoomed through!

Red Tide Rising : called in to talk about the works of their newest release, possible tour, members in the band and much more!

Frank Palangi : called in and we talked about his career in music, his newest release, instruments, and much more.

Cliff Evans : Tank’s guitarist called in and Dom and Cliff talked about many topics from Thin Lizzy to Steve Harris’ recording studio to Doogie’s vocals. Talked at length in regards to their newest release “War Machine” and the making of it. Also talked about the possibility of touring this year and festivals.

George Lynch : Radchad got to interview Mr. Scary before a show and discussed the new releases he is working on, the current line-up, Mr. Scary Guitars and much more!

Jamey Jasta : called in and Dom and Jamey talked about the newest release by Crowbar, Hatebreed touring, and much more. A really great segment.
